Please Leave a Note House w/ Clock & Deer Vintage Wood Standard Specialty Finest Notepad Holder Made in Japan

This is a sweet wood notepad and pencil holder in the shape of a tiny house complete with roof and door. The front of the house has a 1950s illustration of an orange spotted deer at the top. Underneath Please Leave a Note is written in red script around a large clock. The clock hand can be moved to indicate the time the owner will be back. The clock hand is blue and the clock face is black and white. There is a white plastic door knob and brass hinges on the front. When the door is opened, there is space for a small notepad, as well as a white elastic loop on the door to hold the yellow golf-size pencil. The little house is made of blond composite wood with a ridge roof. The back has a round hanging hole, and there is a black and gold sticker for Standard Specialty Finest Made in Japan.

The notepad holder is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The paint on the front is in good condition with no chips or missing paint to the deer or the lettering. The clock face has cracked and has mostly peeled off, but the black numbers and border are still intact. The clock hand moves around the clock. The door knob has a small chip to the underside of the knob. The hinges are tarnished. The wood has some discoloration and staining. The door opens and shuts easily. The loop is still stretchy. There is no notepad, but the pencil is still sharp.

The house measures about 6.5 inches tall. It is 5 inches wide and about an inch deep.
