This is a Tuco Deluxe Picture Puzzle jigsaw puzzle from the 1940s. It features a red and white box with the puzzle image on the front. The puzzle is an illustration of two kids in snow gear on a sled being pulled by a sled dog through the snow. To the right of the kids is a wood sign that says To The South Pole with the S backwards on the sign. The pieces eventually form a poster sized puzzle that is 16 by 20 inches. The puzzle has thick pieces of all different shapes and not the normal uniform jigsaw pieces. It makes for a challenging puzzle!
The puzzle is in vintage condition for its age and use. It has not been put together and could be missing pieces. The box has discoloration, especially to the white areas of the box. The top box corners have separated and have been taped back together. The edges and corners have a lot of wear, especially the top right corner. Someone poked small holes in the four corners of the front illustration. The pieces are intact with some minor fading or discoloration. The puzzle does have a vintage smell to it.
The box measures 7.25 inches by 9.25 inches. It is 2 inches thick.
