This is the 1954 edition of Europa Touring, a Motoring Guide, published by Hallwag Berne. It features a red heavyweight paperback cover with a map of Europe in yellow with lettering in yellow and black. Europa Touring is written on the spine in black in big block letters. The guide is written in French, German, and English. It features full color maps of the various countries of Europe with city maps in shades of red, white, and black. There are also pages dedicated to descriptions of each country with ads for hotels and other tourist attractions interspersed as well as a yellow ribbon bookmark. The back cover has a full color advertisement for Omega watches. This is a travel guide and vintage advertising treasure!
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The covers have general wear with some scratching and fading to the illustrations as well as fraying to the edges and corners. The pages have yellowed. The covers are still attached. The ribbon has frayed with some discoloration, especially at the end.
The guide measures 6.25 inches by 10 inches. It is 1.5 inches thick.
