This is a blue banded stoneware crock. The crock is round with smooth straight sides. It has two wide blue bands going around the whole crock. It is stamped R.R.P.Co. Roseville, Ohio on the bottom. R.R.P.Co. was founded by Frank Ransbottom in Roseville, Ohio in 1900. In 1920, it merged with Robinson Pottery Company and changed its name to R.R.P.Co. It ceased operations in 2005.
This crock is in excellent condition for its age and use. It has general wear all over, but no chips or cracks. There is a very small area of discoloration on one side in the middle.
The crock measures 6.25 inches in diameter at its widest point. It is 4 inches tall.
