This is a wood trinket or jewelry box with a floral inlay motif. The outside of the box is carved on all sides with a lovely flower. The top of the box is also carved around a central oval with an ivory colored inlay. The inside of the box is unlined and is the natural teak wood. The box has a hinged lid.
The box is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The lid opens and closes easily. The corners and edges of the box are smooth. The back side of the box has discoloration from where your hand would rest to open the box. Some of the carvings, especially around the sides of the box are beginning to wear down. The inlay is missing one small piece in the outer left side border.
The box measures 6 inches long by 4 inches wide. It is 2.5 inches tall.
