This is a blue Shirley Jean Fruit Cake tin with a holiday theme. The lid is embossed with a silhouette illustration of a man and woman being driven in a horse-drawn sled. The illustration is covered in white and the border is also white flourishes. The outside of the lid has the Capitol Cake Company information and ingredients list. The outside of the tin is also decorated with white flourishes. The bottom and inside of the tin is matte silver metal.
The tin is in good condition for its age and use. There are some slight scratches to the top lid and some very small areas of rust to the tin lid. The colors are still bright with minimal fading or yellowing. There is minimal wear to the inside of the tin. The bottom of the tin has general wear with areas of discoloration and rusting.
The tin measures 7.25 inches in diameter and is 2.75 inches tall.
