This is an antique edition of Eric or Little by Little: A Tale of Roslyn School by Frederic W. Farrar, published by Donahue Brothers. It features a light green cover with darker green borders and motifs, as well as red highlights and two crossed red bats. The title is lettered in gold. The spine is also decorated with green and red and lettered in gold. There is one illustration on the title page and 304 pages. The Donahue Brothers is a renaming of the M.A. Donahue & Company and only had the Donahue Brothers name between 1899 and 1901, making this a true antique!
The book is in great antique condition for its age and use. The covers have minimal but general wear, mostly to the corners and spine edges. There are two pencil markings inside the front cover. One says N3/50, and one says "Henry A. Cross, From Faye, Roy, Leora, & Nina. Xmas, 1920." The spines are attached, though slightly wobbly. The pages are yellowed with some small dogears to the first couple of lower right corners.
The book measures 7.5 x 5.25 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
