This is an undated vintage edition of The Prince and The Pauper by Samuel L. Clemens aka Mark Twain. This edition is the Boys and Girls Books Series for children published by The Goldsmith Publishing Co. It features the original full color dust jacket with an illustration of the titled prince and pauper in the throne room. The spine is also illustrated. Underneath, the book has an orange cover with the same spine illustration and lettering in black. There are 252 pages.
The book is in good vintage condition for its age and use. The book jacket has general wear with a large piece missing from the top right corner of the front cover. There are other small rips and flaking along the spine and edges of the dust jacket. The book cover underneath has minimal wear, but there is what looks like a pencil hole poked in the spine. The spines are attached. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures just over 8 inches by 5.25 inches. It is 1 inch thick.
