This a vintage York Imperial cigar box with great graphics and typology. It is made of cardboard with the York Imperial logo on the top and colorful labels on the sides. The box has a very 1930s Art Deco feel with black and white check borders and red accents. The label on the top and sides also has gold embossing. The inside of the box is white with the York Imperial label on the inside. This cigar box was made in the 1st Dist. PA and has the PA notice on the bottom. York Imperials were made by J.C.W. & Co. Inc.
The box is in good condition for its age and use. The box has general wear with some discoloration to the inside and outside. The outer labels are all still attached but have general wear with some discoloration and scratching. The inside label is still bright. The inside of the box is clean but does have what looks like ink blots.
The cigar box measures 8.5 inches long and 6 inches wide. It is 2.5 inches tall.
