This is a red, green, and blue plaid biscuit tin labeled Richard Hoffman. It is a round tin with a blue background. The tin has vertical stripes of red and horizontal stripes of green, giving it a plaid look. The lid is green, and the tin has a lunch pail vibe with a thin silver metal handle. The inside of the tin is also silver. The side of the tin near the seam has Richard Hoffman's signature and trademark.
The tin is in good vintage condition for its age and use. It has general wear with small areas of scratches or missing print, especially around the sides and edges of the lid. The silver metal handle has dulled, but the handle moves up and down easily. The inside is mostly still shiny silver with an area of wear to the side of the tin.
The tin measures just under 6.75 inches in diameter. It is 5.25 inches tall, not including the handle.
