What a sweet miniature tea set! Display it or play with it; either way, it's adorable! This is a miniature set of ceramic tea dishes with a little girl in pigtails watering her flowers and watching a butterfly printed on each one. The set has three plates, three tea cups, one tea pot with lid, one sugar bowl with lid, and one creamer pitcher. There are 11 pieces all together. All the pieces are stamped Made in Japan in either red or green on the bottom.
This set set is in vintage condition for its age and use and has been well-loved. The teapot lid has a large chip. One of the plates has been cracked and glued back together previously. One of the other plates has a chip on the rim. Many of the pieces have discoloration spots or lines to the white portions of the ceramic. The print on all is mostly intact with some general wear or fading.
The pieces all vary in size with the teapot being the largest piece. It is 3.75 inches long by 1 inch wide at its base. It is 2 inches tall. Everything else is even smaller than that!
