This is a black tin rectangular box with a hinged lid and top handle. The handle is set on top and lifts up and down, laying flat when not in use. The lid has a thick gold painted border outlined in red. All four sides have a thin gold line border around the top and bottom of the sides. The front has a brass keyhole lock with a red oval painted on the front. The National Association of Real Estate Boards logo is painted in gold on top of the red oval. The inside is plain black.
The box is dinged up, dented, and scratched in all the best vintage ways. There are large scratches all over with some areas missing the black paint showing the silver box underneath. The box has some rusty areas especially to the back left top corner. There are areas of discoloration, especially to the lid, underside, and inside of the box. There is no key, but the box is unlocked and the lid opens and closes easily. Please see photos!
The box measures 9.75 inches long by 7.75 inches wide. It is 4.75 inches tall.
