This is a set of 2 white painted Early American Pattern Glass style shakers. EAPG was made only in the United States during the Victorian period - from 1850 to about 1910. Some experts estimate there are up to 3000 different patterns of EAPG, and this set has a six-lobed pattern with vines inset between the lobes. Both have a simple silver tin metal shaker lid. Both have also been painted at some point with olive green and red paint. Neither set has a makers mark.
These shakers are in good condition for their age and use. The lids have darkened with wear and tarnishing. Both lids have small dents and cracks to the metal, with one lid having some missing metal. The glass has no chips or cracks. The paint on both is very worn with most of the paint missing. Most of the remaining paint is on the vine sections between the lobes and around the bottoms.
The shakers are about 3.5 inches tall and about 2.5 inches wide at the base.
