This is an antique 1913 edition of Songs That Never Grow Old. It features a gray-green cover with the title in gold and the border and lyre motif in forest green. The decorative lyre is also on the spine where the title is written again in gold. The book is filled with sheet music divided into 7 categories - home songs, love songs, college songs, hymns and sacred songs, patriotic songs, familiar songs from the operas, and national songs of the principal foreign nations.
The book is in poor condition for its age and use and would be great as a junk journal or to use the pages within for a project. The cover have wear to spine, corners, and edges with a small rips to the top and bottom of the spine with a large rip along the front middle of the spine. The covers are faded with some discoloration, and the gold lettering has faded along the cover and spine. The pages have completely separated from the spine and covers. The pages within are all still sewn together but are beginning to loosen. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 10 by 7.25 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
