This is the first public printing 1935 edition of T.E. Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom, published by Doubleday Doran. It has the original dust jacket with an illustrated portrait of Lawrence and a description of the book on the back. The cover underneath is gray textured linen with gold decorations on the front and lettering on the spine. This is the complete and illustrated edition with black and white illustrations. There are 672 pages.
The book is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The dust jacket is in fair condition. The dust jacket is fragile with rips, tears, and a large missing portion along the spine. Parts of the jacket are taped together. The book underneath the jacket has minimal wear to the covers. The spines are attached. Jas A. Quinn wrote their name in ink inside the front cover. The pages are yellowed.
The book measures 10.25 by 8 inches. It is 2 inches thick.
