This is a lovely stoneware crock bowls in a natural cream / off-white color. The bowl is banded at the top with the natural stoneware showing through at the rim. The bowl tapers down to the bottom where it has a footed rim. The sides of the bowl are decorated with a downward picket fence pattern around the band and the bowl. The bowl has no makers mark. It's a classic farmhouse kitchen crock bowl!
The bowl is in great vintage condition for its age and use. The bowl has one small chip to the top of the rim. The inside of the bowl has some minor discoloration. The underside of the top band has two cracks where the bowl meets the band. There are some small crack lines on the bottom of the bowl, but they do not go all the way through the bowl. They seem like they might be defects from the firing of the bowl.
The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall.
