A valet box is designed to hold all the accoutrements of daily life, and in this case, accessories like cufflinks, tie clips, and collar attachments. This is a valet box in black with gold accents. The top is printed with gold dots to form squares with gold crowns and crosses inside the squares in an alternating pattern. The inside of the box is lined in beige velvet. Inside the top lid, there is a black band with gold borders. The bottom of the lid is divided into three compartments with one of the dividers having notches for rings or clips.
The box is in good condition for its age and use. The lid opens and closes easily. The gold on the lid inside the box is faded. There is general wear to the lid with some fading of the black. The underside of the box has some slight discoloration. The velvet has some small stains and discoloration or marks leftover from jewelry. The center notched divider is beginning to pull up at the edges.
The box measures 9.75 inches long by 3.75 inches wide. It is 1.5 inches tall.
