This is a large vintage Arnel's ceramic mushroom container. The container is designed to look like a mushroom with embossed sides and lid. The container is a light beige with brown speckling. The inside is white. On the front and back of the canister, there are three painted mushrooms in a group with green leaves behind. The mushrooms are painted yellow for the caps and black or possibly a very dark brown for the stems. The lid's handle is three small mushrooms in a group. The bottom is marked Arnel's.
The canister is in excellent condition for its age and use. There are no chips or cracks. The paint has minimal wear or fading. The glazing is still shiny with minimal to no crackling. The inside is a little dusty with some minor discoloration.
The canister is 11 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter at the base.
