This is a moody lake scene acrylic painting featuring a large lakeside trees and a set of mountains in the background. The painting is on stretched canvas. The scene features two large tree trunks in the foreground with their shadows reaching off to the left. The lake sits behind the trees with a lone cactus on the front edge of the lake. The other side of the lake has pine trees with gray mountain rising behind. The painting is horizontally oriented with no signature or date and is unframed.
The painting is in good vintage condition. The painting is in intact with no areas of missing paint. The paint is slightly yellowed with some small areas of discoloration, especially to the white or gray areas of the painting. The canvas is still tightly stretched and the staples are tight. The edges of the canvas have started to fray and have staining and discoloration.
The painting measures 16 x 20 inches. It is three-quarters of an inch deep.
