This is a vintage metal oval frame with an antique black and white portrait photo. The frame is gold metal. The back is open and covered with thick cardstock held in by metal tabs. Inside the frame is a black and white photograph portrait of a woman in a white dress with her hair in a Gibson Girl style and wearing a pendant necklace.
The frame and photo are in good condition for their age and use. The frame has some wear to the edges with tarnish spots and scratches. The right middle side has started to rust and has a small hole at the back edge of the frame. The top left metal tab is missing. The glass is starting to cloud and has what looks like paper fragments stuck to the middle and upper right and left on the reverse side of the glass - potentially remnants of a different photograph that was in the frame. The photo portrait underneath is in good condition with a slight sepia tone.
The frame measures 5.25 inches tall by 4 inches wide. It is half an inch thick. The picture opening is 3.25 inches by 4.25 inches.
