This is 1913 Saalfield edition of Tabitha's Vacation by Ruth Alberta Brown. It has the original dust jacket which shows Tabitha racing horses with her friends down a cherry tree lined path. The spine is also decorated with a cropped version of the cover image. The back of the book has an ad for The Billy Whiskers series. The cover under the dust jacket is brown with a black and blue illustration of Tabitha writing. The spine is also decorated with a string of packages. There is an illustration by Wuanita Smith at the title page. There are 286 pages.
The book is in great antique condition for its age and use. The dust jacket has general wear with some small tears at the corners and edges. The colors are still bright with minimal yellowing. The book cover underneath is in like new condition with minimal wear. The spines are still attached. The pages are yellowed with foxing to the outside edges.
The book measures 5 by 7.5 inches. It is 1.25 inches thick.
